Camp Keystone to Build New Ropes Course! Our new challenge course is scheduled to be built in March. It will feature a variety of high and low elements and will culminate in a thrilling zip line experience. The challenge course designer and builder was quoted as saying "when I'm done this will be the best course of any day camp in Southern California".
Camp Keystone has decided to join the growing national trend in the camp industry to utilize the professional services of a bus company in transporting our campers to and from camp. This is a big change for Camp Keystone and our parents, but we believe that overall it will benefit the camper expericence. Campers will now be picked up at scheduled times at specific pick-up points in yellow school buses equipped with seat belts and air conditioning. The buses will be driven by professional drivers who drive all year long. Each bus will have a minimum of two Camp Keystone counselors on-board to provide supervision and fun while traveling to camp.
We just love trees and as far as we’re concerned you can never have too many, so we are going to add more. And we are not talking about little trees being planted. An assortment of 7’ – 12’ trees will be added by archery, the zip lines, go-carts, the horseback arena and along the road leading to up to horseback riding. With this addition Camp Keystone now has over 230 trees.
