Internships at Camp Keystone

Unique intern positions for 15-16 year olds

Introducing our NEW top-notch internship program! (download PDF)

Camp Keystone is proud to announce our new internship program for teens. For decades, 15 and 16 year olds have played an integral part in Camp Keystone’s camper experience and we are pleased to introduce a whole new experience that will both enrich and inspire them during this pivotal time in their lives.

Camp Keystone is teaming up with HOBY, a youth leadership organization with programs conducted annually throughout the United States, serving local and international high school students.  HOBY’s mission is to inspire and develop our global community of youth and volunteers to a life dedicated to leadership, service, and innovation. We are excited to partner with HOBY to build upon the success we have experienced with our junior counselor program. Learn more about HOBY and the wonderful work they do by going to www.hoby.org.

Why?

Our purpose for this enhanced junior counselor program is simple. We know the connection between our junior counselors and our campers is an important one and we believe that by inspiring and motivating teens, the lives of both our campers and young counselors will be enriched in ways that could last a lifetime.

How it works:

Our internships will be offered in two week sessions, starting 6/19, 7/3, 7/17, 7/31, and 8/14. If chosen as an intern, you can choose to participate in one, some, or all of the sessions, but must be able to attend every day within the session. Each intern will be paired with a Senior Counselor and will work directly with campers and counselors throughout the camp day. Interns will receive 2 days of in-service training, one day provided by HOBY and one day provided by Camp Keystone.  Apply Now
